Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Nice. Can you check your Paypal transaction history to share when exactly the transaction occurred? Thanks.

You can use a credit card, that's what I did.. but be careful when selecting that during checkout as it's actually going to send a pending charge for 1/4th of the purchase price even before you place your order.
I was purchasing a mobile device at samsung.

In paypal, I have CC as preferred payment method. I also have a bank acct linked.

When I selected for pay in 4 option, it selected bank acct with option to link card...which is odd since I already have multiple CCs as payment options. When I tried to link the card, the app was throwing an error. I tried this twice and got the same error. When I tried the 3rd time, it only gave me pay monthly option. Not sure what is going on.

Thanks

This happened to me yesterday and you may have the same issue occuring as I did. Basically there are pending authorizations for that purchase with Pay in 4 that are sitting with Paypal even through you didn't proceed with the purchase. As a result, your Pay in 4 balance is maxed and that option is no longer available.

If you want cashback, you will need to go forward with the Monthly payments and see if the interest is worth it. Interest was only $6 for the total purchase so I just went with it.

Was actually able to get a live rep to remove my pending Pay in 4 charges from my non-completed purchase but that didn't bring back the option for pay in 4 so I'm still SOL for using this deal unless it magically re-appears as a checkout option before 12/2 and before this laptop deal ends... worst BF yet

Awesome did it and got points pending, and I stacked it with my discover card so 21% effectively.
How many pending points did you get exactly? For the full amount, or only $1250?

You're lucky it's still even showing pay monthly as an option. Mine is now only letting me pay full using credit card or sign up for a paypal credit card as options.. Paypal rep I spoke to was able to remove my pending charges (even though they would have disappeared in 3 days on their own) but was hoping this would bring the pay in 4 option back but he said it might not re-appear for at least 24 hours..

Thanks. I haven't seen DP for transaction made on Nov 20 and later. I was just curious if folks we made purchase before Nov 19 have got their points available . If not, what is the status of the points? Are they still pending?

cap 1 shopping rewards via chrome extention, so Im still purchasing at walmart (paypal). google say I dont have to use cap1 card.
Capital one SHopping and capital one shopping extension do not require a capital one card..

If you are shopping "offers" at capital one.com you are required to use a capital one card

Capital one shopping pays back in giftcards
Capital one "offers" from captialone.com pays back as cash.

Paypal Is stating Capital one cards and Chase cards including Amazon Prime card are not able to be used with for Pay in 4. Is that right?

Can you let me know what you think of the Konkr? Thought about buying one.
Sure, just DM me in 3 weeks and I'll let you know when if it has been delivered yet or not. The IndieGoGo orders are supposed to be delivered first, and Ayaneo seems to be struggling to fulfill those orders quickly. It may be next year before I get it.

I still see it in my PayPal account but I'm having trouble finding shops that offer Pay Later and it is no longer available on eBay as far as I can tell.

When getting this deal, does the correct option say something like "Pay Monthly $25.21/mo for 12 months or as low as 0% APR."?
