Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

FYI if your application is denied, you're SOL. From customer service: I am sorry the decision is final which is automated after the reviewing the account.

I was trying to stack too but i guess not worth it anymore. F Microsoft store. I tried with someone else's phone as well.
I've been having this same issue with Microsoft as well. That 15% CB with the 20% PayPal CB would have been a great deal.

20% PP didn't work, hit Pay Later at checkout, chose Pay in 4, went through review order, and I was charged the full amount. If I cancel order and try again the Pay Later options are no longer available. Garbage system.

Dude, the CB is paid on the reward section, not the instant discount that you expected.

I made a new account to add the 20% CB reward. But when I try to use the "pay in 4" option to purchase something, my load doesn't get approved. I talked to paypal rep, and apparently, new accounts won't get the "Pay in 4" loan approval because account needs to be "older". Have anyone got around this issue? I only made the new account because my old account never had the 20% CB reward available.

I accrued no points in rewards, transactions show both the pre-auth 1/4 payment and then a second charge for the full payment. Pay in 4 didn't work and the merchant proceeded to run the default Pay in Full. Not sure what's so hard to understand. Now I lost the option to try again and PP reps are useless.

All my bureaus are frozen and I was able to apply for Pay Later without issue. Make sure you're not applying for the CC.

Not sure what's so hard to understand about you are responsible for your spending. If you're claiming that the merchant somehow jumped from the pay in four page and made an unauthorized transaction by somehow hacking PayPal, that sounds wild and kind of unbelievable.

I received the email from PayPal that said I had used all of my rewards, despite not being even close to the 25000 limit. I did a small purchase as a test to see if I'd get one more 20% rewards, given that it was still showing in my account, and it seems I didn't and won't. Not sure how others have gotten "one last" purchase to trigger the reward, but it definitely didn't work for me.
Just curious - How small?

I tried two times, first time it didn't go through completely. Is it possible that my previous auto is still pending? How to see pending auth?
