11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

They had up to 1.5 billion points to give out and the offer would have ended if they ran through all of those points regardless of what the terms were. Then halfway through the offer timeline I think they changed the terms because they saw they were running out of points to give out, so they limited it to $250cb max so more people can get in on the deal and upped it to 2 billion points total giveaway for 20% back in a shorter time limit since it was a lot more popular to get people to spend money than the 5% cb, which they completely did away with.
