Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I activated the offer and did a "pay in 4" purchase on Dec 2nd. I have 0 points, and no evidence that I will ever receive any points Frown

I'll probably skip Paypal promotions from now on.

I purchased from BBY on the last day of the promo and it's showing $229.xx in my PayPal rewards section. Surprised it actually worked out.

Target.com purchase made Dec. 3., just before the revised deadline.

Received email notice today ("Congrats, you earned points!") points are out of "pending" purgatory.

I had pending transactions from Nov 20-23, and suddenly one transaction disappeared. Anyone else experience this?

I have 6 total. A total of 5 transactions are still pending. It's almost a month now. At least they are still on pending and not disappearing. Only 1 transaction transferred to points so far.

The best possible cashback (of 3%) for repaying back the "pay in 4" debt is with Bank of america customized cash rewards credit card.

Given my first purchase promptly got the points after 10 days and the rest 2 are still pending (~20 days), I highly doubt the points are going to materialize. All three purchases were made after the terms were changed.

I made 5 purchases. I got points/cash for 2 of them. 3 were pending but now I dont see them under "rewards" anymore even though the transactions in the activity history still say "points pending"

Anyone else missing points? Seems like I might not be the only one?

Note- my purchases were all before the terms changed.

My last purchase that was made after the terms change this shows pending under Rewards.
