Community Reviews

Milwaukee's M18 track saw stands out as a cordless cutting system that feels close to a table saw for sheet goods and long cuts. It has strong runtime, with dozens of cuts on a 6.0Ah high output battery and even 3.0Ah batteries cutting without issue. The saw shares track compatibility with Makita and some third party rails, and the riving knife and single battery setup give it an edge over the Makita version. The main drawbacks are the two piece track seam, which can snag or leave a slight curve, and the need to sort out battery compatibility or adapters.

I'm Team Dewalt, so I'm going to try a battery adapter. Clearance might be tight with the handle, so we'll see. Don't want to buy into another battery system, so if it doesn't work, I'll return it.

If you don't want/need the track, you can use the hack to get just the track saw for ~$307.

Also, honestly, consider getting a decent adapter and just using your Makita batteries. 🤔😅👍🏼

They do, woot usually has a good deal on the red lithium ones and they make a huge difference. My blower feels more powerful and last a lot longer than the regular same size XCs. I just got this saw so I can't say how much the difference will be.

I'm trying to hold out for a 8ah or 12ah forge but we'll see what I end up with though I agree battery sales are common enough
