From everything I've read I'm pretty sure you wouldn't know the difference unless you're using this professionally. I was looking brushless too but I'll be using this on home projects so probably gonna bite on this. solid deal

Brushless is mostly helpful with delivering stronger and more consistent power under load. This is really helpful with a drill or a saw, but doesn't serve much purpose on a brad nailer.

Hey y'all I'm a DIYer that just got a house. I have Milwaukee m12 for a majority of items I use often but I am in the market for a jig and a nailer and router... is this decent for occasional use? Thanks
I've used them both for that purpose within the last several months. I'm not doing hundreds of jobs (not a pro), but it'll do my full home interior/exterior renovation.

Ryobi Nailer is good. Ryobi Router is decent. ryobi jigsaw is really bad in that it doesnt cut straight. Look at reviews. I have/had all 3. Got rid of the jigsaw and got the Milwaukee m12 jig. Unless you dont need a jig to cut a line, it will wander off the line.

What's a Milwaukee jig? You mean a circular saw?

I actually cut jiggy shapes with my jig saw. I've never really tried to cut a line with it. I have a circular saw and miter saw for that kind of stuff.

Ryobi brushless tools are usually of superior quality (build and components) than their brushed counterparts, irrespective of the actual brushless technology
I have several brushless and non-brushless versions of Ryobi tools. Other than the chucks on drills, they are not any better build quality. And anyone thinking about this would realize...how could they be, they are all the same HDPE plastic surrounding switches, wires, and motors. The motors are different, but everything else is relatively the same.

if you don't need the jigsaw, you can get the nailer by itself for $99

I trimmed a whole 2000sqft house with one of these nailers

It did a great job and I hope I never see it again.

I was cutting 1/4" aluminum and didnt want to cut it with a circular saw/pay for a circular saw blade for Al for a one time cut.

I have several brushless and non-brushless versions of Ryobi tools also and I've have the opposite experience. So I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree

That is my impression, I'm not a chemical engineer tho. I don't mean to be a tool snob but I wouldn't buy ryobi brushed unless I had to. But other people are free to do what they please
