Google Now used to do that about 11 years ago. It would also learn your habits and give you estimated driving times to your next destination when you were about to leave work etc. Some of the stuff it did was borderline creepy, but it was so damn useful. Most of those features are gone at this point.

These are the only UWB tags that work with Find My Device on the Android network. I've heard mixed reviews but at least UWB is finally activated after waiting years for Google to implement. Your phone does need to have UWB Bluetooth to utilize the directional feature though. Still nowhere near Airtags so don't expect perfect performance. At this price, may try them out. I have MiTags (no UWB) and they work decently for general location but precise location is bad. May be a while until other companies release reliable UWN on the Android network.

I have a few of these and they do work really well....as long as you update the firmware. They don't work as well as airtags but the google network is improving. I do wish google would change the default setting for "Find you offline device" to "with network everywhere" that would improve things a lot. So please change that on your own phones even if you dont use these things.

I have one in my car. It accurately tells me where I parked the car, since my phone recorded its location just before I walked out of range. If someone who doesn't have a phone steals my car and drives to a remote area where no one will pass by, then I'm guessing the tracker will not be much help to me.
You could just do that with a pin on Google maps LMFAO

Do you always remember to drop a pin every time you park? Why can't Google do that automatically when you park the car?

How do these compare to the tile on sale from life360 rn? 4p for $56 and free shipping with code FF30
Tile doesn't have UWB for proximity

I've been using this for a few months on my cat collar. While UWB is great, the range is terrible. I have to be very close to my cat in order for my phone to locate it. AirTag range is far better. But this is (for now) the only UWB tag that works in Google's 'Fin Hub' network.

I don't really find the UWB all that useful. If you're trying to find a needle in a haystack (like keys burried under stuff), you can just ring the tracker to make it make noise. Your ears work like UWB. These tags also seem to have a lot of battery life issues.

The generic no name grand Android trackers you can get for $22 a 4 pack works fine for just tracking purposes.

These are great. Aside from UWB they're the same size as Airtags so almost all airtag cases and holders work with these.

Exactly, I've been using Chipolo and Pebblebee tags/wallet with Google Find Hub. The Bluetooth signal strength indicator in the app can help you get close to misplaced item, or as you said I just turn on the beeping noise, which lets me find what I'm looking for fast.

Never hurts to have extra features but UWB strikes me more as a nice to have not a must have feature. Overall Google Find Hub has improved dramatically and I've been happy with the Chipolo and Pebblebee tags.

Lastly Find Hub support is in every Android phone including Samsung, so in theory you should have better tracking support than Apple. My only complaint with Google Find Hub services is that unlike Apple it does not yet support automatic notifications or alerts to tell you if you've left an item behind.

If I didn't already have enough tracking tags I'd grab these, though I don't think the pricing is great if you have to pay for shipping, which is showing me as $20. That seems rather high for a shipping cost.

But like someone else mentioned you can throw in an extra tag for $19.99 and get free shipping, so that's a no brainer.

Life360 Tile Mate, can't replace or recharge the built-in battery, many reviews are saying they die after a year!

for samsung phone, is this better than smartag2?
If you have a Samsung phone and want the most advanced features and seamless integration, choose the SmartTag 2.
If you use a non-Samsung Android phone or an iPhone and want a reliable, universally compatible tracker, choose the Moto Tag

But Google find network should be much larger than Samsung. This has uwb as well, so not sure what extra feature smarttag2 might have.
