I've got 4 Ego tools but need a mower and looking for a deal. Is this a good deal?

My yard is only 6500 sqft, and half of that isn't grass, but we have a ton of trees that constantly drop pine cones, small branches etc. I was looking at this 17" Worx, as it might save me time trimming, but concerned the gears would strip when it hits sticks, etc.

My old Toro gas mower needs carb spray to start, but will get me by until I find a deal. If I want to save money in the long run, what should I be on the lookout for? I haven't kept up and don't know which of these is better for my situation. Looks like the Kobalt has a lot of power. Is it less likely to strip gears and able to be repaired if it does?

It is a good deal especially when getting 2 batteries. I have had the push kobalt 80v since 2017 and its running amazing still. Im thinking about getting this one as its self propelled and easier to push up hill.

IMO it's a borderline great deal. It would truly be great if they were the 6ah batteries. 5sh is close enough. I'd recommend the extended warranty to facilitate any store warranty replacement. The stores get uppity and want rma codes from kobalt before they will do anything to help (if you don't have the extended warranty). If you don't mind making phone calls and headaches you can skip the warranty. Kobalt has been good about shipping out batteries when needed.

I'm ready to ditch my 80v kobalt. I loved it until I got thick, lush grass. Now it struggles and leaves a terrible cut if I don't mow 3x per week.
