My yard is only 6500 sqft, and half of that isn't grass, but we have a ton of trees that constantly drop pine cones, small branches etc. I was looking at this 17" Worx, as it might save me time trimming, but concerned the gears would strip when it hits sticks, etc.
My old Toro gas mower needs carb spray to start, but will get me by until I find a deal. If I want to save money in the long run, what should I be on the lookout for? I haven't kept up and don't know which of these is better for my situation. Looks like the Kobalt has a lot of power. Is it less likely to strip gears and able to be repaired if it does?
