Sure, but why would you buy now? The $15 deal is better so just buy 6 next week? Someone keep me honest because I skipped last year's deal, but I've always stocked up at Target in-store without any limits.

Yes, max is $2000 in your Apple account. Have to deplete the account (icloud or Apple store purchase) in order to add more gift cards to keep it $2000 or less.
