Company isn't the easiest to deal with if you need to warranty anything. They will eventually replace your item but it will take weeks and come from China.

I have the Mini in my spare vehicle, works good but I can't figure out one annoying feature. I have sensitivity set to the lowest settings, but it will randomly alert me that it's saving a recording because it thinks I hit something. Can hit a big pothole and have no alert, but then run over an acorn and it thinks I drove off a cliff.

We have three a119v3 cameras (older version without a rear camera) and have used them for approximately 6 years or so. They work as they should. This is enticing though for the rear camera and app control.

I'd like to have ssd supported version, but it is expensive even not providing ssd by default.

Yeah I have the same issues too. TBH I've been too lazy to adjust the sensitivity settings anytime i'm in the vehicle.
Asides from this the video quality is very decent.

Did some reading up on this and it seems like a bit of a deal-breaker. When it does this, it locks the clip so you have to go in and manually delete it. Lot of reviews of people with the sensitivity set to low as possible and can't get it to stop saving clips triggered by things as small as their windshield wipers swiping.

SD price graph shows a constant $160 price, but camelcamelcamel shows the price has occasionally hit the listed $250 original price. Not as big a sale as you might think, but certainly better than the completely fake sale the SD price graph implies.

Same. I get many false positives but i think it's because it reacts to speech and music. Whenever something sounds like "take a picture" or "lock the video", even though there's nothing even remotely close being said by me or in the songs i stream. That's what i noticed lately. I have sensitivity set to low. Same for parking. Auto event recording. Maybe disabling voice commands will help with false positives, but it's convenient if i don't have a remote or the remote is finicky and sometimes disconnects for no reason.

I'll have to do some more observation. There are other issues besides false positive. Sometimes skips recording. Seems random. Sometimes cycles - keeps saying "recording" every few seconds. I used to unplug for a few minutes but lately i just let it cycle. Don't care anymore. Too tired to bother. Need to look for something more reliable and at least same or better quality.

Yeah it's crazy to me that, with how long dashcams have been a thing, so many of them are still hot garbage. My hunch is that the vast majority of us just want a black box that doesn't make sounds, talk to us, or do anything but record on a loop so we have evidence in case of a crash. That they can fail (and fail silently, in my experience) at this basic function is frustrating.
