Looks like the main difference is more stubbies in this set, and this set's normal size wrenches go a size or two bigger, with the stubbies covering more of the smaller sizes.
I might end up returning the 32pc and grabbing these instead..

Side note, no where did I see the full list of wrenches clearly stated in the Amazon listing, so here is the list, where there are standard and stubby lengths for each of these sizes: "5/16 in 3/8 in 7/16 in 1/2 in 9/16 in 5/8 in 11/16 in 3/4 in;10mm 11mm 12mm 13mm 14mm 15mm 16mm 17mm 18 mm" from this gearwrench info page: https://gearwrenchshop.
I am almost thinking screw both of these sets and look for a more complete set with all of the sizes in both stubby and standard
I don't have either, so have been comparing the two sets... and even for $20 more I think the Home Depot set is the better one if this is going to be your main wrench set since it has more sizes covered as you said, but if you are mainly buying this set for the stubbies then maybe this Amazon set is better. Then again, the Amazon set has 18mm vs. only up to 17mm for the HD set... and if you work on cars, that 18mm will come in handy. But... having the standard 8mm and 9mm will probaby be more commonly used.

I think I'll just keep the 32pc set @ $99, largely because I already took the time to find, tweak, and 3d print some TPU wrench organizers with a fairly bespoke fit for the 4 sets.. and the time I spent doing that was worth way more than the ~$20 I'd save by switching.

If the use is for something other than turning wrenches on cars... then the full set of stubbies may be more useful, I dunno. That said, I mostly use M12 Fuel 1/4" and 3/8" rachets anyway, and already have a few sets of wrenches, so decided to not give in to my tool addiction this time around
