- Swaparoo (where people just swap the item with lesser one, looking similar and "return" it back)
- Completely different, non-branded item packaged into original box (I had non-branded $20 chinese dutch oven shipped to me instead of $140 Le Creuset one).
- The item is real but is completely ruined to a point of no use instead of "Used-Like New" (a pair of headphones in the original box with with completely ruined earpads and a huge sticky post inside that you can't wash off with anything)
Amazon resale assoicates are measured on # of returns they process, not quality of their estimate, so they are not interested or enticed to label anything as it is. As such, any AWD deal arriving as-promised should be taken as a surprise, not as expected. And Amazon won't do anything other than taking a return, re-labeling it and shipping to another sucker.Could combine with cash back sites for even more off.
