Mini replacement spools are cheap and easy to change out. Will still snag if overheated but fairly easy to correct. I'm tempted to buy one just because of how long this first one lasted but also curious how long before first one breaks. Might be another few years. More than likely will be the battery fails eventually.
If you use to the strength cutting of a gas trimmer, this one will feel weaker but I adjusted pretty fast to a bit slower cut but still getting the job done.
