I bought myself one of these Spectre 3440x1440, and then a year later, a sub-model for my son. I do not like multiple monitors, and this wide monitor is perfect for me for software development. My son does light gaming (e.g., Steam, Roblox).

Mine maxes out at 165 Hz, while his does 180 Hz. Same model C345B. His was 183.93 USD with shipping and tax.

I have quite a few Sceptres...quality can be all over the place. 5 of the monitors I have had many dead pixels upon arrival. My 32"large monitor and one 27" are fine. 4 22s all came with dead pixels, I returned 2 and got 2 replaced to have dead pixels arrive again and my 24 has dead pixels as well.

For what it's worth we had one of these and it is EXTREMELY fragile. I watched the screen crack when it started to wobble and my son gently kept it from falling over. Just be weary.

This or the Samsung G55T for $234 with Samsung EPP? Is this at 1500R better vs the 1000R Samsung for office work and little gaming?

Getting antsy, keep coming back to this deal due to better specs and lowest price.

Only wrinkle I notice is "400 nits" in listing doesn't match "280 cd/m" (nits) on the product page. But that still beats all the other BF monitors in the price range, which are 250 nits.

So buy two now and 'feel the burn' when prices tumble on CM? Or feel an even greater burn when they sell out and have to settle for a lesser deal? Decisions...

EDIT
The 2026 model at $12 more ($200) has the 400 nits. Got 1 to try. ($12? Would feel dumb not to pay it lol.)

EDIT-2
Received, box factory-sealed, no dead pixels.

Been using for several hours, very happy w/ all aspects of this monitor and deal. Best value, IMO, of all same-sized monitors on FP...as long as it doesn't suddenly fail lol.

On their company website it also states 400 nits for brightness.
