No issues with mine for over a year. I took it apart, and it seems solidly constructed, with no obvious safety issues. I wouldn't plug any high-current 120V stuff in (vac, heater, etc.), but should be fine for low power stuff.

It is just a dumb 5V 2-3A per port charger. No Quick Charge or Power Delivery, but gets the job done.
