Thank you. I'll check this out when I can. Do you know of the end date?
No. None of them show dates. They just say "while supplies last". Find your store(s) and there will be something that says to view deals at that store:
https://www.totalwireless.com/stores/

And something to keep in mind is that the 2 stores I bought from, the deals only require one month if doing multiple lines. The plan price also gets cheaper (per line) with more lines.

I just have to say that trying to replicate this deal took several days and trips to 8 different total wireless stores.

I wouldnt recommend anyone ever going into a Total Wireless store. If I calculate the time I spent I could have bought the phones outright even if I made minimum wage.

The website says you can get the S25 FE for $99 with 2 months of service..
In-Store only. The phone is highly rated at Best Buy..
Scroll down, and you will see it.

External Port-In: You must "port" (transfer) an existing phone number from a non-Tracfone related carrier.

Qualifying carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket, Metro, Boost, or Mint.
Non-qualifying: You cannot switch from Straight Talk, Tracfone, or Walmart Family Mobile (since Verizon owns all of them).

I ported a Visible number. So Verizon ownership isn't necessarily a disqualifying factor. The brands that you mention don't qualify are really all part of TracFone. I also ported 2 TracFone numbers to US Mobile's free trial, and then used them to port in for the free S25S FEs. In total, I got 3 S25 FEs for an average out the door cost of $122 each with 1 month of service. No future service required as they are not carrier locked. Absolutely smoking hot deal, and the new deal is still good...just not AS good.

I got the Black Friday ON US free S25 FE deal also. It specifies, as you say, only one month's service required.

That one month will be ending in a few days. Of course I have turned off autopay.

The offer says only one month's service is required, and the phone model is U1 which means unlocked,

Still, I am wondering if something can go wrong.

I would like to move the phone onto one of my $15 Total BYE BYE lines after the month ends.

I chatted with rep from the reddit Total Official subreddit and she said the phone still needs 2 months service under their unlock policy before it can be unlocked, even though it says 1 month.

Well, I expected she might say that, even though it is wrong, but I just thought I would mention it. I just hope there is not some other form of lock that could be on it. The phone IMEI does say "Prepaid Model" in Samsung's database, whatever that means.

We will see.

There is no lock. Whatever that rep said is garbage. I already tried with a Helium (T-Mo) SIM and they work fine.
One thing though, about your Total BYOD plan. I would say they don't qualify. I remember reading somewhere (I think Howard Forums) a discussion about taking devices to those plans. There was some talk that any device with any kind of TF history on the IMEI doesn't qualify. I suppose you can try, but I don't know if I'd risk losing the BYE BYE promo.

Thanks that's very helpful.
Yes I am trying to evaluate the risk of trying it on one of the ByeBye lines. Supposedly you can tell whether the rate will change, by virtue of it being a TracFine device, if you start into itt self serve and watch the "checkout page" to see if the rate would change. I may see how it looks or I may chicken out.

Oh following on further, just fyi I called the unlocking dept and, unlike the other dept, the guy was able to confirm that it is already unlocked and that there is nothing he can do to unlock it because it is an unlocked device already.

That is exactly what I hoped to hear him say.

So the unlocking part part at ieast is absolutely perfect.

That leaves open the other question about whether to try it in the other account and, if so, whether to just move the old sim or activate it. with a new sim. I think I will/would activate it with a new sim (I have lots) to see any issues up front. Them I would back out if it looks like it would drop the discount.

I'm trying the phone on BYE BYE.
So far so good re the BYE BYE pricing sticking as it was.
However the 50% offer is said by some reps to be less forgiving than BYEBYE. I do not know if that is true.

I activated it onto my Total BYEBYE number with a brand new sim card through the Self-activate BYOD flow on the web site (not the TOTAL Phone flow) and it just went through. I had laid the scene by taking it completely off TOTAL (by porting my number back to T-Mobile) and then deleting the IMEI from the account (otherwise it keeps it around for potential reactivation). Maybe that helped.

I am currently a Tello subscriber. Can I port in from Tello to avail this S25 FE deal?

Definitely - people have used Tello. Usually if not always Tello qualifies in Total offers because it is a T-Mobile mvno and as such is an arch enemy of Total-Verizon!

Best call first to be sure the store has stock still specifically for this offer and price though.

The S25 FE offer is back in stores. It's just kinda risky now. With the change in the unlock policy, you would be stuck for a year if they aren't still passing out U1 devices. However, it's possible, I guess.
