If this will be your first PS5, and you have some disposable income, it might be worth the extra 250 bucks if you want to get the absolute most out of your games. But even then, it comes down to your priorities. The standard PS5 runs everything fine. I think the only thing that might be worth paying Pro money for is for competitive games, so you can simultaneously run them with the highest graphic settings and highest refresh rates possible. But, I'd assume you will probably play most competitive games on PC anyway.
TL/DR: Not worth it for most people IMO. But if you've got the spare cash and you want the best, go for it.
