the added kick stand is nice to have, and the magnet ring on the back, while interfering with S PEN, came incredibly handy when you have to stick it to a metal surface without falling.

I wonder never trust an expensive phone with no name junk. It doesn't even have sufficient edge guard protection and you'll find that out the hard way when you drop it.
OtterBox actually tests their products and rates it appropriately.

I do agree that better protection is needed, at least for me. I did get a "cheap" one this time but it has great protection and I have tested it multiple times now lol. https://a.co/d/d1QXiFF
Love the defender and have been using them for years but the price was too much and no deals when I got my phone.

How is the screen protector? Crystal clear? Finger print open still works the same?

Honestly, I used the am film one. Didn't realize the case came with one. But the am film glass has been great with zero issues with fingerprint plus doesn't show prints or smudges like others and it doesn't even feel like it's on there.

I've lost 2 s22 ultras in the otterr defender cases, and had a s25ultra OtterBox defender case when I purchased my phone. The next day fell out of lap in my office chair and the front bezel on the case cracked. Also the side buttons were hard to press. I'm done with OtterBox cases.
