I had similar issues with the taxes, since it's an eSIM nothing needs to ship, I just used a NJ address from a frd and total tax&fees was $1! Also, use coupon code XNY3RG8 for extra $5 off!
I have 4 of these and they are awesome for kids. For adults, you have to be careful; 5 gigs are all you get, this is not unlimited at slower speeds.
Today I spent 2 hrs dealing with my sim card and apn settings until they finally looked aty account and noticed I didn't have any data left. Before, they could not help me set up a sim card I got from Amazon and had to figure out on my own. It is cheap, though.
Request in online chat after support business hours, automated chat agent will tell you to expect a call in a few minutes to complete request. Since support is closed they won't bother calling and you will receive the full port out details via text to the number you made the request for.

I'm currently on this plan from the previous $65 deal 6 months ago. I'd buy it again if I could add it to my existing sim. Wonder if you can.
If you try to renew it will let you do it for $60..but then it charges:
Tax & Surcharges
County Sales Tax
$ 0.638
State Sales Tax
$ 0.638
City Sales Tax
$ 0.160
Prepaid Wireless 911 Surcharge
$ 26.760
$28.20 +$60 for $88.20. Think I'll wait until it's closer to expiring and pick something comparable then. I may grab a mint plan since I'm on their "minternet" plan now.

My 12 y/o regularly blows past the 5Gb limit so if I had to do it over again I'd get one of the 10Gb deals. However it def continues to provide lower speed access the rest of the month. Perhaps it's too awful for most things but imessages come through fine.

Thanks! I'd have to tie it to a privacy.com payment card since they accept any address. Will have to give the renewal another look. Rep'd!
buyer beware i was missing a bunch of regular (non imessage) texts and didnt know it. finally fixed it but unreliable texts is like a nonstarter for a cell phone plan imo

The throttled speeds vary quite a bit. Last time I checked US Mobile seems to have one of the fastest throttled speeds of 1 mbit/s once the high priority dat is used up. Which should be quite usable for most basic things other than video streaming.

Make sure low data mode (iphone) or data saver (android) is turned on their phone. Also, tell them no streaming, lol. If you follow this, it's pretty hard to go past 1GB per month.

Also do you know if they ship via standard us (USPS) mail or do they use fedex/UPS/etc?
