Worked beautifully when buying the discounted Switch games at Target.
Bought two $30 Switch games, and $40 Star Wars Outlaws for Switch 2 for 3 cents short of $100. A little over $108 after tax.
You need to already have that much money loaded into your Cash app balance. Not 80% of it, but the entire total that shows in the Target checkout. Then you select the Cash App to pay, and then it will not show the total with the discount applied, it will automatically show that everything has been processed and paid and then take you back to the Target website/app.
The Target website/app will show order confirmed and the FULL price, making you think that they didn't apply the 20% discount.
Go back to the Cash app and you'll see that the 20% of money is still sitting there. That's how you know they applied the promo discount. You can return the money back to your bank.

I searched and found the offer in my cash app but when opening and trying to check out and Target it's not applying. Is anybody else having this issue?
I've had a Cash App acct forever but haven't used it in quite some time. When I logged back in they seem to have taken it upon themselves to order me a debit card which won't be here for weeks. You appear to need an activated Cash App card in order to add offers
No I don't have a card and I was able to activate the offer. The app sucks but I just searched for Target and it was there

I didn't see anything there. I searched target in the app and it came right up.

Was thinking about maybe using this to get the Mario Galaxy "bundle" for the Switch since it probably won't go on sale anytime soon. But even at around $57 I think that feels too rough to pull the trigger.

I used my 20% off on Mario Odyssey; for $30.00 I've been wanting to play it for years! I got the digital version, so this does work with digital copies! It came out to 26 bucks; with how much this game is praised, i am happy with that. 🍄 I hope it's better with the Switch 2 update; we shall see.
