Google Play points has broadened their reward options to include gift cards.

Examples:
$10 Target - 2000 pts
$5 Target - 1000 pts

So, as usual, the redemption rates aren't as good as if you redeemed within the Google universe, but they're a nice addition if you want to redeem beyond games.

I don't see any giftcard and I have 1,307 points...even went straight to the giftcard section and wouldn't allow me to pay with points.

This is on my phone on latest os.

Not sure, I'm gold...what are yall at?

I did not say there was nothing in the giftcard section...I said I couldn't buy any with points only my debit or other cards.
