This is patently false. It should read SOME current users included, but no one seems to know the criteria they're using to decide who is and isn't eligible. I'm showing full price to extend my subscription.

No discount for me in essential only the other more expensive tiers. Oh well I've been without PS plus now for 6 months I don't think I've been missing out on anything. I refuse to pay 80.00.

Not seeing the discount on my account. I have a current sub until near the end of February 2026.

I tried to cancel (basically turn off auto-renew) and didn't get the offer.

I'm wondering if they set the eligibility rules to be 90 days or less of remaining subscription. I'm just a little beyond that at the moment.

I'll have to try again next week before the promo expires. Otherwise I guess I'm waiting until February for the next deal to come.

I started my sub in January a few years ago and actually let it lapse for a few weeks last year before re-subbing on a deal last February.

Was only given the option to upgrade my last 20 days of extra to premium for 4 bucks since I was on my last month. No option to renew for a year.
