I used mine with a 4.0 ah battery for just over an hour last weekend. Battery wasn't fully charged when I started as I had used it daily to blow leaves off our patio. This one works much better than the other Greenworks blower I have. I got the blower/trimmer combo with a 2.0 ah battery in September for $115 including tax. Considering the battery alone is $99 on Black Friday deal, this is a pretty good deal if you are in the ecosystem and don't have a blower.

I highly doubt it. I got the same one with 2.0ah battery last month it only lasted 8 min of continuous use.

The 4ah batteries last considerable longer than the 2ah (or even the 2.5ah). I had a set of 4 4ah 40v that i would rotate through. the 4ah was almost enough to mow my entire lawn (21" mower) ~.3 acres. I don't think you would get a continuous hour of use, but 30 minutes of mowing (which is quite battery intensive) is easily obtainable.

With that said, I JUST switched over to the 8ah line, and those are beasts. I can do everything and still have a lot of life left. They are considerably more expensive, and I built them up slowly over a few months. The 4ah are more than enough, however, but I would not recommend going any lower than that.
