Weight is only one component of sleep apnea. Age, gender, and genetics are other components. Some normal weight older males have sleep apnea.

As someone who will always have sleep apnea and lost a lot of weight... You should get a sleep test more than once, it's like a vision test that needs to be adjusted.

Most people would have to lose around 50lbs to see a noticeable difference in CPAP settings needing adjustments. When the pressure is too high the machine will fill your stomach with air, you'll belch a lot more than normal, and wake up feeling bloated. You'll know when you've waited too long to adjust the settings.

You can adjust the settings on your own, look it up online. Keep in mind this is a medical device and you're not a doctor. Your lungs don't have the same pain receptors as other parts of your body but they do show the effects after the damage is done and take longer than most organs to heal so know what you're doing.

what part is the "end" of the tank?

mine doesn't seal most times, and it takes several times of me slamming it together spilling water everywhere in the dark before it does.

i was much happier all around with my s9...

This is still a great deal though, and a lot of doctors are going to want the s10 connected or the s11 so they can get the data wirelessly anytime instead of needing an SD card download.

mine doesn't seal most times, and it takes several times of me slamming it together spilling water everywhere in the dark before it does.

If it's for home use, get the Airsense 11. AirMini requires costly humidifier discs and uses somewhat non-standatd connectors (although can be remediated with adapters), is louder and has less features. It cost more and don't come with a case. It does use less power though.
The Airsense 10 is an older model and is a CPAP i.e. fixed pressure rather than auto sensing like Airsense 11, which is apap.

Try sliding the water tank into the machine while pushing down on the tank. For me, that reduce this issue by like 80%.

This is what my PCP told me - pulmonologists just pump as many people through as possible. My pulmonologist looked at me for two seconds and ordered a sleep study (ouch! Lol) I'm 6' 230#. My AKI was 102! >5 is normal and > 30 is severe. This CPAP has saved my life. It was sent with specific settings based on the Rx from the pulmonologist, but I was able to change them. If you haven't already, download the Oscar program. Insert an SD card into the AS11, sleep with the machine, load the files from the card to the Oscar app and it'll give you more data than you'd ever want to know. Most importantly, it'll show how the settings are working and how you're sleeping.

The mini should be reserved strictly for travel. they cost exponentially more and use proprietary tubing and humidifier solution and are almost never covered by insurance. i would opt for the airsense 11 simply because its the newest offering.
