I signed up with the link and can confirm it doesn't work on any device that isn't a fire tv device. Tried using it on my phone, browser, and LG tv and it doesn't work on any of them. Tried logging in directly through HBO and using prime as a service provider and got an error saying HBO can't verify my subscription.

Not seeing it either. But if it does come, props coming your way.

**Edit - seeing it now on the HBO Max app page. https://www.amazon.com/WarnerMedi...=ss&sr=1-1

$2.99 Basic with ads plan. Standard and Premium same pricing $18 and $22..

Amazon and Roku have advertised that they will offer 12 months of HBO Max for $2.99 a month starting tomorrow. (The regular price is $10.99 a month.) A Hulu/Disney Plus bundle of $4.99 a month is also expected to be added on Monday. Paramount Plus will be reduced to $2.99 a month for two months starting on Tuesday.

Not sure about this. Good question. I do have a button that says subscribe now on my page, but I'm a current Prime and Max subscriber. I plan on buying this for my brother though so hoping it's not through the Prime app but works using the standalone Max app.
Thru the Max app, not a chance.

I'm walking through the signup now, but it does say this "We can share your Amazon account information with HBO Max to automatically create an account. You can also enter your information manually " - so I'm guessing the answer is yes.
It said "share info" not "watch movies." LOL

Wondering this too
Any streaming I've bought thru Amazon I've had to access via Amazon, any subscriptions you have will display at the very top of the page...
How frequent are the ad breaks on HBO? If they're anything like Hulu's long ass breaks, it's a hard pass!
BTW Hulu's usual Black Friday $1 a month for 12 months promo should pop up anytime, that's about all I'd pay for their annoying ad version!

Was able to subscribe but it looks like I can't actually log in to HBO without a Fire TV device? This is weird.

HBO sub app has no ads, and the popular premium Max shows like GOT has no ads

I'll wait for the normal HBO max deal from HBO lol, not dealing with Amazon

I signed up thru the HBO MAX app on iPhone, under Alternative Billing, they show the 2.99 per month Black Friday plan, prior to that it was still 10.99. Keep in mind this must be done on iPhone and you will get billed thru the iOS App store.
