Have to go through walmart and walmart will then connect you to Verizon. You will get the phone from Verizon either way but $300 gift card is only eligible when you start the process with walmart. Hope this helps!

i would never deal with walmart+ ATT with this kind promotions.. or anything related to wireless phone with walmart as walmart is never good at handling customer service with issue i had.. last time i pulled the trigger with iphone 14.. they messed up.. they sent me the wrong phone with different sim card,, so they dont match. and icouldn't activate it or use it.. i was advice to return them ..and problem was returning the phone.. i did return it eventually but it somehow it was lost in transit.. I NEVER PAID FOR IT. as it was never my fault... att put the bill in colllection and i wil never ever deal with att again with such promotions. it was a battle with them calling back and forth every month.. in the end i was slapped with collection because i never paid it.. it was never my fault that Walmart messed it up .. then the phone was never received because it was stolen in transit.. if you face a problem with return or issue walmart is not good at this.. i even went to walmart store they dont want to take it in.. they said to mail it instead.... but its not a good experience when you have to deal with such issue like i had... so beware...

Asking again and hope someone can help answer please.

If I purchased online, receive phone, activate, paid off, eSIM swap, and cancelled the line before receiving the Walmart gift card, will Walmart still send the gift card or detect this somehow and not sending the gift card? If anyone know how the gift card release works or done it before?

I would buy online now because looking at the stock level I don't think there will be much left Friday.

I see a few people have asked this with T-Mobile works for existing customers (or only new or add'l line), I too believe this to be the case. Went to Walmart today and guy said it should be for any existing customer as well, but said to come back when the cell phone guys come in (they hire an outside firm to handle them), and said that the BF deals are good today (not starting on Friday like it says on Walmart's site). But he could be wrong too.

I'm in the same boat. Placed the order on 11/17 and got it on 11/19 then activated and paid it off the same day, but I keep the line active still until I get the GC just to be sure.
The Walmart's email GC said "about 25 days after the device has shipped"
I don't mind paying a few extra bucks rather than losing $500😁

Yea I can see do the 500 GC. Their wireless monthly is pretty high like $75 plus activation you are talking over $100 bucks. I'm only holding it out for the 300 GC so this is eating a bit into my pie...

Walmart reps were useless as usual. First they denied the deal exists. Then they said it's online only. Then they said to wait for another rep to come back from her break. No one came eventually and even the first rep disappeared.
Curious how this ended up? Any luck in store

I realized I messed up this deal with the other thread for the iPhone 16 series a week ago but I think the GC deal is the same just different amounts.

Better off using a mobile 5g hotspot and put your foreign sim card in that. Then all of your devices and phones connect to the hotspot for data and you can get calls using WiFi calling. You save since you don't need a sim card for each phone.
Yes, have looked into several options. We have a couple of old iphone X phones that we could use as burner phones. I'm also looking into installing a mobile VPN. I'm okay with tapping into public WIFI, but want a secure connection on my phone.

For At&T, how do i get 3 iphone 17s for my kids, and not be on the AT&T contract? also how do i do the upgrade without them finding out before christmas?

1. buy 3 phones and get 3x Walmart 300$ GC
2. once i receive the phones, immediately pay off the phones with AT&T

does this work?

The terms online says store gift card deal starts on 11/28. The store rep I spoke with said the same.

For Verizon, I do not see any trade in details going through walmart to upgrade a line. Am I missing something or this offer doesn't include them, just the gift card?

I think one of the comment I saw earlier says the online chat agent indicated that the gift card is one per account, meaning you can't just buy more iPhones and expect multiple gift cards.

But what if you create more than one Walmart accounts? I mean sure when they run your credit you will have to use the same info, but curious if this could bypass the 1 GC per account limit?

Any thought?
