I got the Z50 II refurb + 2 kit lenses some time ago and I think the upgrades are worth the extra money, including the auto focus and being able to use an external PD battery via the usb c port.

I'm doing the same and waiting for a deal on the Z50 II. Looks like a solid upgrade over the Z50.

So right now the 50ii is like 935 for a two lens kit. Nearly double the cost. Think mint will go cheaper?

Any casual photographers care to weigh in on a reason to jump on this, versus a used/refurb Sony a6000 16-50 kit? About a wash as far as cost goes though I would say a kit in good shape with extra batteries would be right here at the 500$ mark. I have a Ricoh GRIIIx that I use as my grab and go but would be nice to have something I feel less guarded carrying around and this sounds like it would tick a lot of boxes. I know the A6000 is older but anyone have real world experience with the two (or better yet 3!) to compare rather than me just relying on AI to summarize the differences for me? I'd actually like the subjective opinion of someone who's used them rather than a technical side by side which would likely point me to the Nikon.
