Eh, key card is the worst of both worlds. You lose the convenience of digitally transferring the key and don't have a physical working cart for offline play or archive.

At least code in box can get real cheap or clearance since retailers want it to move like other physical merchandise.

I can resell a key card. I'm stuck with the digital purchase.I have 300+ switch games all of which will work when the servers get turned off. And if my machine goes down with no servers that digital game is history. I prefer physical media. I've decided I'll likely have a much smaller switch 2 purchase history.

If the Wii servers are my guiding star for whether I trust download-only content, I can put my head in the sand on downloadable content.HOWEVER, my inability to check it out to my kids via digital cartridge feature, and lack of resale value due to device lock is where I put my foot down. I won't be buying this for Switch for this reason.
