I thought by getting the Tracfone plan it automatically unlocks the phone from Straight Talk.
But what is happening is:
1. Get the phone from Straight Talk (needs 60 days to unlock)
2. Use it on tracfone for 90 days (which overlaps the 60 days)
3. It'll unlock after the 60 days anyway
is Straight Talk/Tracfone on the same network?
Is that why it will work for Tracfone without unlocking?

It's $150 and then in a few years when support is dropped you can get another dated iphone for $150 instead of the $799 you would pay today for a iphone 17. You can even invest the $150 for the next phone today and you will have maybe $200-250 in a few years when it's time to upgrade.
