Anyone here who has successfully ported the visible numbers to metro? Please guide us with the steps to follow. Thanks!
Sorry, my numbers have been ported by other SDers; last one is reserved for a SDer to be used tomorrow. If they don't use it, then that number is available.
I recommend Tracfone for getting a $15 port number (don't recommend autopay). Automated and fast; just be careful not to trigger any flags that will require human intervention and write down all relevant info. You will need a spare phone or eSIM to get the auth messages to verify you own the port number.
If you don't have a compatible phone with Tracfone or is unsure about setting up the account correctly, PM me. I don't mind helping out a SDer and getting a new port number; just cover the number cost + tax.

Don't think the Helium Mobile free plan works.
It used to be u could buy a port-out number on eBay for cheap. I no longer see that being offered.

Called up a week later. Gave them the order number i was given. They said they don't see it. but then on a deeper dive they saw that order number but they transferred me to the port department even though the number was ported over. Port department goes let me send your number back to the old carrier. I said by this point that doesn't do any good for me since that account has now expired and I no longer have access to it and I was trying to port in for a deal. So I asked if there was any way to get the deal I was trying to get? She was confused and just repeated her line I returned your number to your prior carrier.
If the website works smoothly for you, it's a great deal but if there is a glitch and customer support has to get involved they seem useless.
