This is a very lukewarm deal. I know its "pro" but I dont think basic pla vs pro makes much difference to most people. You can get 5x1kg kingroon in a si gle color for $35-$36 right now with coupon code RE7.

I use a ton of this each year for my Etsy business. It's my favorite brand of filament by far and pretty consistent. It's a deeper black with a little bit of shine compared with other lines and brands. Occasionally there is some varience in color between spools and I have had 2 bad spools that were a mix of PLA and something higher temp that caused issues. Both times elegoo replaced the problematic spools.

Kingroon prints nowhere near as nicely as Elegoo. Elegoo is probably the best affordable PLA out there. I'm not knocking Kingroon... It prints fine and I've even posted a few deals of theirs including one today, so I certainly wouldn;t dissuade people from buying it. I just don't think the two brands can be compared. The Elegoo colors are much more vibrant than Kingroon as well.

I do prefer Elegoos Rapid PLA and PLA+ over this Pro though, but that's my preference. I feel it prints a little "PETGish" and the dimensional accuracy isn;t the same.

Pretty sure his comparison is some no-name off-brand filament that was probably wet as hell and printed horribly...but for some reason now that's the ONLY price that anyone should EVER pay for ANY filament.

This is about 25% off regular priced Elagoo PLA+, which is fantastic filament. If you want to cheap out and save .3c per g, then I guess go for it.
