Interesting. So this SKU is $87. But you can do the free tool offer for $100, which then lets you hack it.

The tool becomes $43.94 and the batteries/charger $55.06.

Tried a hack last year, and it was a pain. The item for pick up kept on getting cancelled - I wonder if this is still a thing now...

Funny. I bought this a month ago and used it to remove a bunch of epoxied panels in my boat. Took about 4 hours and I thought the tool performed really well.

They've been making this same osc tool for a zillion years. I bought mine like forever ago and have actively been trying to kill it. Plunge cuts into tree trunks. It barely gets hot. I cut 3/4 oak with it to make a channel for a hood vent and it just zapped on through.

This non brushless one is weak. It struggles and runs through attachments quickly. But for simple stuff it does the trick. Don't expect it to cut through 2x4s or anything thicker than a simple nail easily. Also you need an Alan key each time you change the bit

Question: I got this tool in a Ryobi package and noticed that the attachments feel a bit insecure. One Harbor Freight cardboard cutter attachment I could hear jiggling after using it just 30 seconds to 1 minute. But the attachment specifically said it works with Ryobi and major brands. Am I doing anything wrong?
