You don't have to buy the silver plan on month 2 to unlock the phone. You just have to have active service for 60 days. They don't even have to be 60 consecutive days.

Also, can buy up to two of these phones and you'll get the silver plan on the second line for $30. You don't even have to buy them both at the same time. I bought one phone to unlock and my account now says I can add a second line for $30. Note that you do have to maintain the silver plan to keep this discount.

pretty sure you can downgrade to bronze $35 plan for the 2nd month all it says is 60 days of paid service for unlocking i see nothing about it needing to be the silver unlimited plan for month 2.

yes the phone and tablet work on wifi after the cellular service expires although i highly recommend just paying for a 2nd month of service for the phone so it can be unlocked for use on another carrier. that convenience is work the $35 extra if u ask me

I called and they processed the Stylus 5G 2025 + 8" TCL NXTPAPER for $105. 1 month service on both.

The guy barely spoke English and spelled my name wrong, twice (different ways) and lied to me during the call saying it was the 10".

It's still a good deal for the phone by itself. So we'll see what shows up.

I noticed it doesn't say "Moto G Stylus 5G" on the Straight Talk site but does say it supports 5G. So is this the same as the Moto G Stylus 5G at Best Buy and will it activate on Mint just fine in a couple months?

FWIW, ST Cust Svc (chat) confirmed that you can downgrade to a cheaper plan the 2nd month & it's supported on other networks like tmobile & AT&T.. The stylus phone is, I didn't ask about the tablet.

Or just pay the extra $10 for the Bronze plan to be sure.. The unlocked version is $275 from Ama & you're getting it for $80 & 2 months of waiting.
