You can get *good* steel jerry cans but they are going to be $50. And 4 of these for the same price

I have 5 of these. They don't take that long to fill. They don't leak. Yes the nozzle is incredibly annoying for anything but a car. Or maybe a tractor. If you are going to fill small power equipment this will be a pain in the ass/get something smaller

Allegedly, one can remove the nozzle assembly from the can and depress the nozzle. On the screw end portion you will see an o-ring. Remove the o-ring and the nozzle will separate into two pieces, then remove the spring and reassemble, not forgetting to replace the o-ring, otherwise it will leak. Then when you press down the nozzle it will stay in the open position until you manually close it. Not that I would ever do this because I blindly trust our benevolent CARB overlords.

I got some metal cans on ebay about 10 years ago. The gaskets for the nozzle cap on mine are available on Amazon and probably ebay. Found that after 2-3 years of use they tend to not seal very well and leak gas or fumes. Fixed right up like new, but I still use a electric fuel pump to remove the fuel, because the metal can nozzles suck and besides they are heavy.

got my dad's old school galvanized steel can with the separate vent cap, gotta be 50 years old. that is still my favorite, wish i had about 3 more.
