This webcam is fine - it's not the most amazing quality, but it's not meant to be. It more than gets the intended job done and I've found it better than any built-in webcams. It's not going to compete with the $150, $200, $300 webcams out there, but it's also just $12, it's not supposed to compete with them. For zoom meetings and even streaming, the quality is plenty and definitely worth it for the quality (over a built in, or even over that 25 year old one you've been using since XP. I've had $50+ and $75+ webcams that didn't look much better than this; you don't really see that next bump in quality until you hit about $100
