I did the iPhone 13 deal with visible last year. Note that for eSIM you must activate service on the device you bought. They were also a PITA regarding unlock. I activated the phone on their service and then moved the service to another iPhone. The iPhone 13 never unlocked and customer service was not helpful at all. I then used the iPhone 13 another line for 60 days and that apparently didn't count either since it wasn't the line the phone was purchased on. Overall if you want an unlocked phone make sure you use it on the original account for which you purchased it for 60 continuous days after activation.

But be aware since it is a Verizon subsidiary it is just a sim unlock - the bootloader lock (OEM unlock) remains greyed out... had this experience with a pixel 9a I got from visible.

$425 plus taxes, $465 total. Visible indeed includes all taxes/fees. Service is better too. P10Pro is not much of an upgrade from the standard P10. Too late for me to return but I think this is a better deal.

Can you share the source for this? I was diligent during checkout and no such terms were presented, even in the fine print. Nowhere does the contract say, "You must activate within X days or you forfeit your prepaid year."

If 45 days is reality, I'm not inclined to fight it. I just don't see how I could have missed that disclosure/agreement on this offer, so TIA for any reference.

I chatted with CS today and they said we have 30 days to activate. Not even 45. IDK what to believe.

The order to unlocked 61 days later, must activate the Pixel 10 on Visible first and use few times (call, text) then change to your kid's phone.

I chatted with CS and was told I had "at least 30 days"; I asked, "at least, or at most?" and was told "Exactly 30 days." Now, we know that cannot be the case! They're going to prevent someone from activating on Day 1 or Day 7 or Day 29 because it has not been "exactly 30 days"?! What if the CS had told you that you must activate it with 30 minutes of shipping delivery? At some point, they need to show the basis for their statements. Bottom line is that they are not well trained, and that's Visible's fault.

Everyone's threshold for hassle is different, but I will point out that in the US for terms to exist, they need to be clearly stated and agreed to. No activation terms were stated or agreed to, so that's pretty clearly in the customer's favor.

Visible may deactivate an account that you just created at 61 days of inactivity, however, that does not mean you do not get the benefit of the 12-month prepaid plan you just purchased. It just means you'd likely have to get on the phone with Visible to have your acct reactivated. Same may go for the eSIM; perhaps they need to generate a fresh one on Day 31. But, they cannot just arbitrarily cancel a pre-paid plan because it hasn't yet been activated, without making this term and condition part of the offer and sale. The question is how much hassle will you tolerate and for how much $$. I'm definitely not going to activate before Day 30, at which point I'll still have > 1 mo at Mint. I'll see how busy life is at that point and make a decision as to whether to push to Day 60 to save a month of a prepaid plan.

I wasn't. I saved the offer @ PayPal, but checkout wouldn't give me the option to Pay in 4. I just had the regular one time payment option It would have made this super slick, but was a no-go for me 😢
