It's just an SD card, it'll work in anything that has an SD card slot as long as the capacity is supported by the device. Won't run any games on Switch 2 though, including Switch 1 games.

Getting my kids a Switch 2 for Christmas. How many gigs is needed, on avg, per game? In other words, is 256gb sufficient for the average household?

This one isn't the correct one for switch 2, that needs to be an micro sd express I believe
