To refill a standard 16 oz Dawn Powerwash bottle, the most effective and widely used ratio is 13 parts water, 2 parts dish soap, and 1 part rubbing alcohol.

Hey guys, if you figure the dilution rate of how many ounces of Dawn per water, you can just reuse the nebulizer or atomizer or whatever the spray head is. It's just taking a very dilute amount. I would guess it's probably between 1 and 2 oz out of 16 and atomizing it into a foam. It's all just a matter of the add mixture. You could actually pull up the material safety data sheet and see what percentage surfactant it is. Then you don't have to pay for their atomizer every time cuz they're giving you the refill or you could just pour out part of one of the refills. Add water to a bottle and add slight amounts of Dawn to get the approximate viscosity, although that would be different and more difficult

I read on reddit or something recently that this product is a huge scam...basically it uses a fraction of the dawn product and dilutes it with water & alcohol...use fancy words like powerwash to dupe the consumers. Do not purchase this product & ensure it fails so that we dont fall for their marketing gimmicks that lines their pockets & keeps us poorer

Diluting dish soap with water reduces the concentration of preserving agents below the levels necessary to inhibit microbial growth. You're basically creating Dawn-scented bacteria water. At least it will be foamy.
If you think this spray is undiluted dish soap I have bad news

Cite your sources, please.

"Powerwash contains several strong solvents, chelants, and high-alkaline ingredients that help it cling and decimate dirt—it's absolutely not regular Dawn dish soap in a pump spray bottle (as internet rumor has it)."
