Gotta love cheap dollar phones just to go activate with another provider for ~$500 off a new iphone 😁

How do you become a "new customer".
I placed an order using a new CC, new email (same mailing addr as I have bought before from HSN). Order went through and I got confirmation email. Few hours later, received another email saying order was cancelled. No reason why it was cancelled.

Currently, the 64 GB model is up for sale on QVC as well for $28. While I'd recommend 128 GB for a new phone bought today, doubling the price just to double the storage feels like a steep ask.
64gb plus a cheap micro sd card (for movies, music and photos) is more than enough for a basic user or starter phone for preteen

Once the phone is unlocked do these phones work on GSM networks like Mint Mobile, ATT, T-Mobile? I've searched the model and haven't been able to find anything.

ATT, not likely; their MVNOs, e.g., Red Pocket/GSMA, probably. TMobile and MVNOs, probably.

they are compatible with other networks but where you run into hurdles is the IMEI is not on the carriers whitelist (allowed devices list) with a lot of these cheaper phones. You can get around the limitation with carriers that allow for swapping of sim card between devices e.g. Mint or Visible by first activating on an allowed IMEI then swapping the SIM card into one of these phones.
AT&T tends to be the worst when it comes to adding these phones to their IMEI whitelist and when they do its usually a few years later.

As much "new" information as possible:

Name
Billing Address
Payment Source
Email

Order's not officially complete until you get shipping confirmation.

Yes, twice as much when they both only have 4GB of RAM makes the $28 seem like a better deal.

just keep in mind while you can carrier unlock it after months

you will never ever root or bootloader unlock a tracfone, even with motorola's free bootloader unlock they blacklist tracfones

so you'll never "own" this phone

if you can live without 5G the two-pack of the 2024 model is better deal
unlock after how many months?

Are the HSN/QVC Unlimited Talk/Text 24GB Tracfone deals at thing of the past? I bought unlimited tracfones each of the last few years, and even without the new-customer code, they were a great deal for the year of service. I was hoping to get another this year. Do all good things have to come to an end?
Also note for this 1500-min Tracfones, even Wifi-calling uses minutes! I bought one for my mother a few years back and she burned through the minutes in no time, on wifi calling.

If you get Google Voice, you can use wifi to call using the GV number and it will not take minutes.

I had the same question. No so much concerned about talk/text but 24GB data would be much desirable.
Havent see that lately.
Do they exist?

This phone is dual SIM. I have the 64 GB version. Just get the Helium Zero plan on the eSIM and get 3GB of data every month for $0. Problem solved. You're welcome in advance.
***EDIT*** Of course, you can only add Helium to the eSIM after this phone unlocks in 60 days.

Is 1500 Text/Minutes per month or for the ENTIRE year?
