A lot of work to save $100
Considering Nintendo consoles rarely go on sale (and might go up in price thanks to supply constraints), I think it's a fair trade imo.

Now just need a deal for the membership
Sam's Club memberships are generally half off or more through Groupon.

Google search shows $250 limit. Still not enough to buy a Switch 2. I'd love it if someone could prove me wrong though. This would be a great deal.
That's the old limit, it's $800 now.

LOL, a lot of work to save 20%? Buy gift cards and apply them to a purchase? That's a lot of work? That's the whole point of gift cards...

For those with Costco they have the eshop gift cards pack of 4 $50 e-gift cards for $180. But it's limit of one purchase per person, sorry if it's already in the messages just in a hurry.

I'm going to try it now. It'll be slow because I'm on my phone only, but I'll post an update.

BJ's has $100 DoorDash gift card for $80. Could do that and buy from Best Buy (may have store pickup which you can avoid delivery fees). Can also go to a Costco store and get same deal (usually limit 2 per transaction). If need to return have 15 days (should have a return barcode from the order or you can tell the dasher to get a receipt). Not sure if extended holiday returns applies. I think is is better to have doordash credit since you can spend on other things at Best Buy or another store compared to nintendo credit where you are limited.

Can anyone confirm that they've bought a console with gift cards alone?
Yes, it seems you can apply your balance to anything you purchase from the Nintendo store. I wasn't aware of that (maybe it's new).
