Great deal! I have these and the Bose QC. The Sony does not have that weird hum/buzz when ANC is on.

I have both, too. I have never noticed the hum, what I have noticed is that if you want superior microphone performance, choose Sony! If I am using it for meetings or calls, there is a big difference in sound quality/clarity for the listener. Great deal for these though.

Got one on Amazon, very solid headphones for the gym. Throwing them in the back of the car at 90 degrees outside, the hinges are still okay 5 months later. If the hinges break, Soulwit sells a bracket to fix them at $39.99.
