For computers, this Black Friday is the worst I can remember. I'm waiting over the weekend and until Monday. Hopefully sales suck and retailers up their game.

If RAM prices keep going up, that will be the most expensive part of the rig!

Is this it??? I appreciate the posts, but these Black Friday deals just suck, and there's only like two legit deals today.

Really depends on how much they price the steam machine. Estimates/guesses on pricing for it varies greatly.

you damn right!! stores shrink packaging but then keep the same price, to make you feel like they are holding the line on inflation, but it's a mega scammer EEK!

Better yet, wait until January / February when they clear the stock that didn't sell Black Friday- Xmas.

You're probably right, but I'm on an old system and have been waiting for two years.

Good deal - PC gaming is going to get a lot more expensive so these prebuilts are the way to go for now... might be the last until AI slows down.

Not really worth $250 more than the 8500F/7600 deal, but I guess it's a fair deal. The 8700G going to perform around about where a 5800X is. if you had another stick of RAM, the iGPU would be about GTX 1050 performance. The 5060 performs as well as the 4060 Ti 8GB/3070.

This deal is still alive:
https://slickdeals.net/f/18885442-hp-omen-16l-gaming-desktop-pc-amd-ryzen-5-8400f-16gb-ram-1tb-ssd-rx-7600-w11-home-599?p=180694819#post180694819

30% difference in performance between the 5060/3070 and the 7600, but you can get a used 3070 for about $200. The CPU won't matter much here.
