Tempted to buy these just for nostalgia... Had a pair of these in high school and loved them.

Same here but the ones I saw in stores for $40 were full plastic and the soles and quality inner soles said $15 shoes with $35 Adidas name.
I ended up getting Converse high tops for the same price $48 for the leather low cuts. $56 for high tops

Yeah but converse are having shit quality lately the glue they use for the soles loses its bond real fast because of heat, luckily I found a guy that glue is back and sews the sole to the side.

The advertised shoes are leather (at least the page says leather). This is a simple but great color for adidas.

Agreed! The shell tops were all the rage! If these were the core white with black stripes I would be all over it. But I have two pairs of pureboost shoes the same colorway as these still sitting in boxes brand new. Can't justify the spend. These would just sit.

I should know, I tried to cheap out and bought the Grand courts to pass off like superstars. Grand court is a decent looking shoe but they wrinkle up and tear up fast. Didn't last me very long but were also like $19 so not a big deal.
