The 4.0 battery is reason, but lowest in a while, considering how expensive

For my size lawn, if it was dual port or had at least 7.5 battery, I'd bite. Just a slight annoyance to swap battery mid way. Otherwise decent deal.

No, the reason is because few people buy a lawn mower in the winter and they probably would rather clear these out and use the storage space for other things.

That's 2x 4.0 batteries. That's pretty good. It's a good price. Good mower

If you've got a huge lawn, you're probably better off with the 2x 4amp. Super slight annoyance changing a battery. Easier by far than refilling a gas tank, that's for sure.

My lawn isn't that big but mine has been going strong for years now. Nice to have the additional battery for the weed eater and blower.

Unless you have a a tiny lawn, do yourself a favor and get you a decent gas powered mower. Electric mowers do not have anywhere near the same ability to sustain high power output in thick grass and bog down (and drain the battery) quickly if the grass is even a bit overgrown.

Claims of torque and power matching gas engines mowers are cherry picked and misleading, with 56V 4.0Ah batteries these things are more in line with gas powered weed whackers when it comes to horsepower.

Actually mine cuts better than my gas equivalent. Gas or electric, it will bog down on thick overgrown grass. Either case, you would raise the height or lift it higher for a bit. The only caveat to the electric one, is if there's too much grass clippings, it will prevent the self propel from working, because it's blocking the device from breathing. Another caveat is you have more things that can break.

If you are planning to buy this, please note that this is a 600 series mower without The Select Cut™ Multi-Blade Cutting System which consists of an upper blade and interchangeable lower blades to customize your cut. That feature is available in 800 series or higher mowers.
