Does LG and Sony Tvs in USA work in India, when it's 220v 50hz? I wanted to buy a TV from USA and ship it to India.

Probably not but a 220 to 110 transformer is not that expensive. but the tuner will probably not work..

I am not sure how your power is but you might want to invest in a 220V UPS to protect your electronics 350.00 which probably seems like a lot but if you are bringing over a US TV I am assuming it is not 300.00?
