It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

Same. At least your CS was competent. Mine didn't know what to do so I kept being transferred between 3 different departments, fraud, CS and sales till one of the fraud reps said, "Oh, we needed to verify you." (the first fraud prevention rep flat out told me it was due to high risk factor and they couldn't disclose the reason 🤡 but in fact the issue was because they didn't send me any email to verify my identity). And now my order is being shown that "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.
We've received a request from the sender to return the package."
Similar. Fraud people say released, other say cancelled. Weird is one of the phone showing shipped after return request (different from my address which I requested when order) other three phones is still at return with new return tracking even. Very frustrated after all the hassles. Still not sure what to do now

Anyone know how long we have to activate these? I'd like to give as gifts on Christmas, then activate and port. I did not give them account # and pin for porting yet. Ordered a few days ago and phones are being delivered today.

Never been with Verizon before. Rather than talk to overseas reps, can we take the phones that arrive in the mail to a Verizon store for help with activation, porting, etc, or will they not help with online purchases?

If vzw isn't incompetent, they're just scumy.

When they had the 15 pro promo trade in "Any iPhone any condition", I brought in a 5s and a 6s and 2 Xr and the store manager at a "Verizon Company Store" fully refused "I can't accept those, those are very old" to accept those phones as trade in even though the details of the promo never limited the model of iPhone. It also said any iPhone, any condition, mine had no cracked screens and they powered on.

After placing an order, I received an email saying 'Please verify your identity. Your status is pending.' It requested that I upload two forms of identification: Proof of ID and Proof of Address.
Has anyone else gotten a similar email? I'm relieved I didn't share my port out PIN numbers yet.

Yes it'll only ask you to upload the pic and selfie doesn't ask for pin. Don't provide them transfer pin until you're for sure ready and have new phones.

The verification email only verifies step 1, then after 2nd step, I feel they are not good
