It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

This whole thing is making my mind explode. So for the people receiving extra gift cards and bill discounts did you ask for them or were they offered for the inconvenience? I have logged about 30 hours on the phone between Verizon and FedEx and about 10 hours on internet chat. My wife took 2 days off due to packages coming on 2 separate days needing to be signed for. They have not once offered anything for the inconvenience. Now they have the nerve to alert me about my bill? Which will be a whole different story as it's $65 more a month than quoted?
Me too man. This has been such a drag and stressful. I've been on calls with just about every department for about 10 hours total and they still have issues with my account despite being a new customer. Super unnecessary difficult to deal with. So my first order got cancelled because it never came and they are not able to place a second one honoring the price because my account had already been created.

I honestly believe they want masses to know about it but do not want all to join it. They are making it difficult to weed some out to get the sign up (even if you cancel order) to showcase influx.

Inspired by one of the poster went to local Verizon store with my T-Mobile bill. I was in old magenta plus plan with really sweet deal but no phone upgrade. Tried with T-Mobile they upgraded plan cost wen up slightly but still they made it good enough for me to stick around but still no phone deal. The store rep and manger tried to come up with something comparable but they were way off and the only way for them to give me additional $45 for 36 month when they added $68 in phone protection. Unfortunately do not work out. Went back home and thought let me try online - as soon as I uploaded my bill and was about to call T-Mobile retention department I got a call from Verizon rep. One of the nicest customer service rep I have ever come across. Went through everything - got 2 iPhone 17 pro , 2 iPhone 17 pro max no trade ins , 2 on unlimited ultimate plan due to international travel frequency and rest of unlimited plus plan , all taxes and fees included , Disney bundle and Netflix bundle included total $196 , monthly credit for 36 months $65 , no hassles or order cancellation BS (no jinxing ) got email this morning that phone has been shipped. Will go through the porting process once I get my Phone. I am sure T-Mobile will be disappointed to lose their customer of 10 years but they could not give me the free phone upgrade. Will see how Verizon service and other stuff goes and how long I can keep them. Only thing compared to T-Mobile I am losing is in flight full wifi service (important but manageable without ) and Apple TV which my chase reserve provides anyway. Overall increase in bill compared to T-Mobile around $7 a month. Still a great deal from my point of view. Thanks.

Were you able to get the activation waived? FYI the $68 phone protection can be cancelled

I went through chat and they waived the Activation Fees on the iPhones, but not any other devices (Watches and iPad) and the $300 Gift Card and the $20/month National Discount, but not the $30/month and $45/month some commenters have mentioned. I decided not to move forward.

I went into a corporate Verizon Store and they agreed to waive the Activation Fees on the iPhones and the other devices and offered the $20/month National Discount and $45/month discount some commenters have mentioned, but would not offer the $300 Gift Card or any additional bill credit. I declined.

Is calling the best option to get the Activation Fees waived, the $20/month National Discount and either the $30/month or $45/month discount and the $300 Gift Card or some type of additional bill credit?

To use the 300$ gift card do we just add on account and pay the bill with it before the autopay payment goes through? Does it impact the autopay discount?
Before your bill is due, go to this site and make a partial payment with your gift card. Do NOT pay off the entire bill as that may affect your autopay discount. The system will deduct the amount from your gift card, and you can use the remaining balance on your gift card next month.

I have a cashback offer for Verizon from my bank. Does anyone know if that will be honored if the order is placed through chat or call? There doesn't seem to be a way to get the activation fees waived unless I go through these 2 options.

Successfully placed the order. The total, including taxes, was 441. I'm in SoCal for reference. I was also able to get a pop-up for $300 Verizon GC, and a certain blue cashback site is also offering $150 back.
I am fairly new to the cashback site. Can you mention which one it is? Thank you.
