It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

I see the x36 on the paperwork (not one time) for the 40. national and better deals does not have this verbiage (just says 20) so I need to assume the 20$ better is same format as national offer (plz. refer attached) it came from switch offer to match the other carrier(s). I will try port process once I have the account enabled (after 24 hours).
so you are moving forward with account creation before porting? do you need to have the devices before doing acct creation?

So you guys created an account before doing a port out request? I'm trying to understand the sequence of events to try get this extra $20 off:
1) I havent done the port request or created account yet
2) Havent received phones either but seems like all 4 have shipped now.
3) Do I go ahead and try to create an account now before I receive the phones then do port request through the account once I receive?

Also, did you guys do the 'better' and 'closer' discounts? wondering if it will all stack?
No ports. Yes do create an account. Once the phones arrive then log in. I only opened the main line phone and immediately requested for the pin. I honestly can't remember if I requested the pin on the phone or website but I don't think it matters. The text arrives that says they're sorry to see you go and then the spiel starts to keep you as a loyal customer offering the discounts. The texts allows you to accept the offers. Do it. Then chat with and agent to make sure they are added. Check in offers next day or two and they should be there. That's when you accept the offer and activate them. When I chatted they added it to one line that day and I asked them to add it to all lines and they became available to claim in 'My Offers' the following day.

I submitted the port out pin request yesterday on first phone I activated from Verizon. Instantly received the loyalty offer of $20 off per line for 12 months. It will seemingly allow you to activate it through text but that doesn't actually activate it. I chatted online and they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. I ask them to verify that the offer was legit. It showed up on offers today on my online account so I redeemed it for all lines. Ongoing bill will be $80 for 4 lines (and 4 free iPhones) plus I originally added HBO/Max and 100GB hotspot on one line on the Welcome plan. I wanted to switch to Verizon anyway because it has better coverage in the rural areas in my state. Billy Bob Thorton isn't telling the truth about signal in the middle of nowhere. I found that out the hard way while travelling all over the state of Arizona. Even some modern well developed tourist cities like Show Low had no signal in large areas. I recently tested infimobile (verizon mnvo) from my house to Phoenix streaming live news and never lost a signal where as Tmobile would constantly drop. It's about a 1.5 hour drive thru mountains and reservations. I hope more people switch.
Agreed! As someone who lives in northern Arizona and travels to many rural areas, Verizon is great

I port 4 lines from T-Mobile. Rep told me it is one time discount
My paperwork clearly says $45 off x36months, that's on top of the $40 off for auto pay. Said it would be about $55 plus tax per month-

I am not having luck with chatting. The best I have gotten is waived activation and $300 gift card. Looks like the calling in sales office has closed already.

Called, ported one line over from AT&T, rep said he used some better deal discount thing, asked if he could waive activation fee, and since the didn't have any more 256gb 17Pro offered an additional discount because he could only get me 512gb before Christmas, which would be more expensive.

Has anyone used CAPONE and got more than one order? If so, does the second line shows up as full "new contract" benefit or "add a line" benefit?

I think KingUltra meant 36 months.
But the real thing is you're paying off the iphone over 36 months. You not getting it free.
That's true. My four phones taxes are $363 dollars + $130 month x 36 months ($4680) = $5043. Four iPhones each cost $1100 x 4 = $4400.

After 60 days your device will be automatically unlocked and you can use any SIM, no impact on plan/price as for as you keep your plan active.
After two months, I plan to give the phone to a family member that is on Tmobile. So this is great.

Worked for me too. Just go to Device Management, click on Number Transfer PIN, then on next page you will see in RED "As a valued customer, you may be eligible for a discount or other offers." click, and a banner of the offer appears. It got reflected right away on my next bill.

Babylon misunderstands the other deal where you jump to Magenta after 6 months. via Keep and Switch.
