It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

Called and talked to an agent and was really easy. Asked me if I was porting or getting new numbers. I told her I was porting over 3 numbers from T-Mobile. She said she would do a soft credit check to make sure I was approved for service and equipment and then upload my bill from T-Mobile and see what discounts she could stack.

Credit was approved and sent me a link to upload my bill. After she received it she offered me $65 credit. I didn't have to ask or anything. $45 credit for 3 months. $20 national and $20 better will be lifetime as long as I have 3 or more lines. The $40 activation will be waived after activating lines and will be 1 - 2 billing cycles. I mentioned about the $300 and she said supervisor will authorize it and will be bill credits as well.

Total for 4 lines in TX comes out to be $60.75 with taxes after the $65 discount.
Congrats!. Can you share the customer service number you called?

2 chat attempts at getting further discounts - failed.
1 call attempt (800-256-4646) - No $45 credit, agent claims it's only for porting from AT&T or T-Mobile.
No $20 credit, agent claims the "National" discount is the same as the "Better" discount.
2 call attempt (800-225-5499) Agent claims "National" discount is not stackable with "Better" discount.
Will attempt some store visits tomorrow.

Thank you @willygee. Could you pls share the number you called to get these discounts, i tried chat they are not aware , called verzion customer support (800-366-0227) and they asked me to upload and call got disconnected and no call back yet.
I called the Sales number listed on the website: 800-225-5499. Some mentioned the number you called as the switch to verizon number and I saw this one too: 800-256-4646.

Try to get an inside sales person (could ask if they are in that dept and if not ask to be transferred?) if you can and in the US (if it seems like overseas person, politely hang up and try again).

I am deciding how to avail the best offer. After reading many comments, seems like we can do couple of things (not including phone costs, taxes, fees as they are same either way),1. online100 cb site + try 300gc for each line by placing 4 different orderscost will be 100 $/month for four linesonce received, try port in deal to get additional 20$ per line for one year.[given everything works out]= total 1040 for 36months for four lines 2. In-store/phone (with bill upload to AI)35$ for four lines[Certain as offers are applied during the order]= total 1260 for 36 months for four lines I'm somehow inclined for 1 over 2 as it allows for me to move after one year (and still get lot of benefits within 1 year) and with cb almost certain and at the least one gc guaranteed, might get 20$ per line port offer even sometime later if not now.Any thoughts? Am i missing something? It'd be helpful if anyone can confirm if they were able to successfully redeem multiple 300gift cards?
Thank you for confirming my research! I'm leaning toward plan one too. Did you end up going for it?

Edit: I see you went with number two. Congrats

I end up doing his plan 1 Last week, since I'm bailing in 6 months.

1. Click Cashback site
2. Ordered 1 line w. $300 Rebate for instore pick up.
3. Picked up and activate. Redeemed Rebate.
4. Repeat same process 3 more times. 4 rebates are pending now.
5. Chat with CSR and asked for $40 Activation credit x 4 Lines.
6. Went to request port out PIN, and received $20 off per line offer for 12 months.

So you request the port out pin from Verizon and you get an offer for $20 off? Even though you just signed up...?

Did you create an account at any point during this process? And when you say you activated, this means turning on phone and going through the setup process?

Yes. Some people had to request PIN and wait for offer to appear. I did not, the offer was there in a banner.

After I picked up my first Line, set up phone, made account, then went to Add Line.

I called in to confirm that if 2 is even an option. That rep seemed great but he is out until Monday and other reps are not able to give me that offer. So, I am waiting now.
Meanwhile, I am unable to proceed with 1 as none of the phones are available for pickup near me and not sure if i can do by ordering delivery (there is talk about account not being active until first device is activated to order second phone).

You can order Delivery, but it will be a longer process.
First, you need the first phone in hand to activate, make an account, and log in to add the 2nd Line.
Then, you need to wait until the 2nd line is Shipped before you can do 3rd Line. Same for 4th Line.

The $45 credit is only for 3months? Others have mentioned that they got it for the full 3 years.
I believe this is a typo, should be 36 months/3 years. Runs the same length as the phone pay off period

If do the free phone deals instore, do we have to go to Verizon company stores? Or authorized reseller like Russell Cellular also runs Verizon promotion and do the free phone deals?
