It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

were you initially promised this during your order or you just kept asking via chat?

Has anyone who is not getting the best discount tried to negotiate with the agent for additional discounts? Or tried to cancel and re-ordered? Much appreciated.

Come February, there's going to be a flood of unlocked Verizon iPhone 17 Pro being sold. If anyone is thinking of selling their phones after being unlocked, please get it in blue or silver. I will be in the market to buy one.

Guys is that normal that National Discount is $0 here in the purchase receipt? And also autopay discount not included in estimated ongoing monthly? I hope it will be applied after activation.
have you received your first bill (projected or otherwise)? just curious if you see all the credits?

Haven't been in the thread for a while, anyone that has switched and received their phone, do you get 5G UW with the unlimited welcome plan or not? Final answer please, looking to jump on this before it expires. Thank you!

It's right there in the plan descriptions. Ultrawide band is only with the premium plan, not the welcome one.

I don't know about that. I think if you're doing this deal, you're planning to stick it out with Verizon. The device credits are monthly for 36 months even though the phone unlocks. It's not like the Spectrum Samsung deals where you got the credits applied up front and were home free in two months to unlock and could cancel service too and then be ready to sell

My parents wanted new phones so I worked a deal with them where my daughter and I would pay them $1k and they'd get 4 phones. In 60 days, I'll port the V numbers out to some burner phones and transfer our Tmo SIMs into the phones. My parents basically net $15 off per month what they'd have paid switching and getting just 2 new phones, a $300GC, plus I did all the paperwork/chat for them. If I'd actually wanted to switch to that plan at V, I'd have definitely bought all 4 with an eye to flipping the extras because, even after 36 months, I'd have netted a far better deal.

My question is: WTF are we all going to buy with $300 GCs?

I had a plan to do the exact same thing for my family, right down to the two lines and flipping. I ended up jumping onto Verizon from my free Spectrum line and I may stick around, may not. The Tmobile port out is always an option

The GCs are Verizon gift cards and can be used for paying your bill! They'll be processed in a month or two, I think. They require you to stay with them for 6 months, else clawback, per fine print on them

That'll keep you on Verizon for almost a year if you intend to use them (redeeming 1200 worth)

Clever of them! 😂

Is $45/$20 plan discount dead? I tried calling verizon and even went to reseller with a bill and they refused to offer anything. What is the best offer now? Can you actually get 300 x 4 $1200 GC? By adding 1 line at a time? Also what will be the plan cost? if i just add one line, it shows $55 month, once i add 4 lines, will it automatically bring it down to $100/month?

I did the online one line at a time thing yesterday and day before. It works. Can also go through cashback portal. See comments in previous pages. And yes, price will come down to 25 bucks a line once you add all four

Yes the first one you'll need in hand to set up Verizon account to add the others, and you can check if it's in stock by hitting pick up in store on product page any putting in zip code

For anyone doing 3rd party CB and doing separate purchases Is your cashback counting as new lines for lines 2,3 and 4 or have they been considering them additional lines? Been seeing a difference in the amount for new vs additional.
